About angle conversions
Angle conversions are needed in mathematics, engineering, navigation, astronomy, and computing. Degrees are the most familiar unit (360 in a full circle), while radians are the mathematical standard used in trigonometry and calculus.
One radian equals approximately 57.296 degrees. A full circle equals 2π radians or 400 gradians. Arcminutes and arcseconds are used in astronomy and navigation for very precise angular measurements.
